I am surprised there isn't a thread comprising of all 4 batsmen on this forum already, considering that from their era pretty much most people have the following ratings for the test Batsmen:
Tier 1 : Sachin & Lara
Tier 2 : Dravid, Kallis, Ponting & Sanga
Tier 3 : Younis, G. Smith etc

So rate the 4 legends in order. Mine is as follows:
Ponting
Kallis
Dravid
Sanga

I'm curious as to why you rate Sanga so highly. If you take the major away tours (AUS, ENG, IND, NZ, SA, SL and WI), Sanga has the least average and runs scored by far (For ex. Dravid has the almost double the runs of Sanga with an average difference of 6). A lot of his matches were played against lesser opposition such as Bangladesh.
Even in terms of ATG knocks, Dravid and Ponting I feel have more of a case that Sanga.

First three are pretty tough to rank

Ponting is #1.

Hard to seperate other three. However, Kallis got 290 test wickets also, Sangakkara kept for 40 odd tests. This is probably why I would keep those two above Dravid. They had to focus on other aspects outside of batting.
