So our offies bowled the 17th, 19th and 20th overs when SL needed 23 in 24 balls with 8 wickets in hand.

And they got 2 wickets each over. And 2 more in the super over.

I don't think he was up to much in T20s. The guy batting at 3 for us right now has more 50s and a higher SR plus he had a good tournament.

It's the guys that come in after who aren't living up to expectations. The likes of Mahela, Mathews, Thisara Perera, etc. did a lot better than the current crop. Asalanka is generally alright but he was very poor in this series. Also, I expected more from Kamindu Mendis. Chamika Karunaratne deserves a callup I think - he's generally more committed and fitter than this lot even if his bowling gets carted around.

All SC/Asian teams seem to these days. Even Afghanistan who piss on everyone else's parade with some regularity have only ever run us close once, I think, in that '19 WC. Good times but makes any Asian tournament involving India a bit redundant, and sadly for neutrals and other SC fans, the trend appears irreversible.
