Great to be able to log into cricketweb.net/forums for inane ball-by-ball commentary instead of having to browse cricinfo.

And dropped a ridiculous number of catches through opportunities generated on this 'road.'

Shall we both talk about the quality of England touring teams in various places over the years that have been worse than this?
I never said we were any good as we aren't. Just that this is a diabolicaly bad touring side.

Is this the worst ever touring team?
No, I remember a team that toured NZ in 2018 and got bowled out for 58 after being 27/9. Messrs Root, Stokes, Bairstow, Ali, and Broad scored zero runs between them. Not surprisingly they lost by an innings.

18 months later the same team came back, had NZ 197/5 but were unable to take 10 wickets in over 200 overs and ended up conceding over 600 runs. Again, not surprisingly, they lost by an innings.

Where’s this ‘England are a poor side’ bit coming from flibberty?

We had a tough time in India but that’s the only series we’ve lost under this captain. Theres a bit of transition at the minute but we have a consistent batting line up that very rarely collapses, and some decent bowlers coming through albeit nobody knows the make up of our best attack just yet.

The cricket played throughout the bulk of this Test was of a pretty good standard with no side getting too far away from the other.

Your attack is laughable for one.
Your posts and face are laughable

Too early to say. Woakes in England is a force. Wood less so at home but bowled much better than his figures here.

Atkinson has made a fine start and Bashir was impressive yesterday. Genuinely can’t rate the attack at the minute because we’ve all seen bowlers start well and then fade so no point pretending they’re both the second coming but let’s be honest they’re the new McGrath and Warne
