First saw him in the 2003 CWC when I was a budding teen. It's amazing how long he lasted. We don't make them like him anymore.
Respect,

Definitely one of the bowlers of all timeCongrats to him on a great career. As an Australian, it's fair to say he has always been there for the last several series and run in from one end or the other. Kudos.

England’s most successful Test captain this century, Strauss, debuted after Anderson and has been retired well over a decade!!Made his Test debut a month before my eldest was born - she's just graduated from Uni!! Amazing longevity and his stats from his 30th birthday onwards are just obscene.
The list of players who have had amazing careers yet come and gone during this period is pretty ridiculous too....Dhoni, Amla, Steyn, KP, Broad, ABDV, Warner etc etc
Not to mention England's highest run scorer (and 5th of all time).England’s most successful Test captain this century, Strauss, debuted after Anderson and has been retired well over a decade!!
