CW's 100 Greatest Cricketers Poll

Brook's side

With those bats he would be lucky to go past the mid wicket fielder
Didn't even have stickers.

Edit: Actually, although I read that bats changed very little from the 30s to the 60s, I see that Everton Weekes (who smashed it) only hit 2 test match 6s, so you're probably right.

What would that prove? Larwood was actually bowling slow and don was a ****?
If that video showed one batsman getting hit in the chest, another falling over, another getting bowled, another jumping out of the way etc, and then showed Viv coming to the crease and smashing Larwood out of the ground, flaying him around the park and hitting him out of the attack, you don't think that would prove anything?

Cricketer Of The Year
18 voters. Not bad. Again another clean round where the top end looks very well rounded. The players to almost make the last round all features here. There are two sets of tied players making in this round, and the 12th spot is also tied. As Border and Lindwall also tied on votes obtained, I am using my vote as a tie breaker. Hence, the one I voted lower (Lindwall here) gets ahead.
