That was retrospectively called Champions Trophy. It was a lame Wills International Cup.

Yes. Nobody sent there best teams. It was all treated as a joke. And on top of all that Kallis was man of the series. So it definitely doesn't count.
You create a mini table taking only the results achieved between each other into account.
If football can manage it I am sure the smarter sport can.

I was 11 years old at the time and went on to watch the final between SA vs WI with my uncle. First ever live match and became fan of Jonty rhodes since then. Before the match he was doing fielding drills like a maniac. Those memories stuck in my head forever.
