Thursday in Guyana (likely India v England) is looking alright atm, but it's literally a window within days of thunderstorms, so not huge confidence.

Forcast is sun all day in st.lucia acc to BBC [OK, what do they know?] :)

As long as Oz win, i think theyr get through, cos even if afghans beat bangles i doubt it will
be by much to improve their NRR.

Apparently the 1st semi final has a reserve day, but the 2nd semi final doesn't

How do they decide who goes through if it's rained off?

"Unfavorable Weather: If the weather conditions prevents the super over from being completed after a tie or if the match is abandoned or a no result, the team that finished first in their second round group will progress to the final."

So basically India and South Africa have an extra safety net for the final

Don't feel that's fair either. It just means that you counted one win for one team and ignored one win for the other team. NRR is very fair IMO.
If two teams are competing for one spot its fair that whoever won the direct fixtures between gets the advantage for me. NRR comes down to whoever is better at minnow bashing don't see that as being a fair determination of who is better.

But by looking at head to head you are favouring the team that dropped a game to a minnow. Argument can be made both ways. NRR is sum total of a team's performance, it's fair. You can improve NRR by bashing a strong team too.

By looking at things, Tim David had one job and he did it perfectly ie to hit that six. Without it Australia stuck at 175 and below Afghanistan at points table

To be precise they wouldn't have been below Afghanistan right now but it would have allowed Afghanistan to go above Australia after losing to BD by 1 run.

How would h2h work in a scenario where there's a 3 way or 4 way tie
