Depends on rankings.
The 8 from the Super 8s all qualify for the next tournament as do Sri Lanka as a co-host. The idea is for teams in the top 12 in the rankings to be fine then the rest need to qualify.

If their rankings don't drop too much by whatever date it is checked, they should be fine.

Even if you get a game, it's no longer T20 , so not a true reflection of the skill on display, and someone's career could be changed forever for something like this. It makes our game look outdated and cheap being so helpless to weather.

Enough of this nonsense. The ICC know it's vital financially for England to progress so they should just step in and hand the points to them on the grounds that this would have been a moral victory.
