Very hard to differentiate the two.

Who would you pick in your team out of the two? Which one is the better test and odi batsman?

Nice, you’re getting polls in your comparison threads now :) Seems you’ve accidentally checked “Unlimited” rather than “Single Choice” (which is default), allowing people to vote for both options. I’m assuming this was unintentional, if not, disregard.

Anyway, I’d take Sehwag in Tests and Jayasuriya in ODIs.

Sehwag by a HUGE distance in tests. He was better than Atapattu & Karunaratne and they were/are better than Jayasuriya.
Sehwag was a test ATG.

Jayasuriya in ODIs even without his bowling and fielding. He was an ODI ATG.
