I'm not sure Kapil would add much to a team that had great bowlers and Imran as a genuine GOAT contender AR. Kapil was a decent bat, and a decent bowler - but he was not outstanding in either discipline. Combined - yes, you get a fine cricketer.

Sanga and Waqar add more value in terms of winning that Dev does. One as a great bat and the other a legit ATG bowler.

Kapil Dev is bowling equivalent of Abdv or Martin Crowe,

And he was genuine matchwinner with his secondary skill.


Far better than Miandad, Waqar, Sanga and Dravid.

Miandad and Dravid arguably better batsmen than Sanga, yet their combined vote tally is zero, while Sanga leading with 14 votes.. 🙄 weird.

Is this because, He was a Dhoni level WK Batsman when he was not a Specialist batsman? If then why Dhoni is not included in the poll 🤔

For people voting Jadeja, I say it again,

"He has to win a WTC Final outside Asia". He got two chances, missed out on both. He will probably get another chance and he has to make it count.
