He's not fit enough to knock the ball around in the middle and slog at the death like he use to, so he's specialising in hitting in the death. Doing that he's scoring at 0.7 of a run better than the average player would off that ball despite not being set, and he's not getting out while doing this. Dhoni is so far away from this teams problems it's not funny.

Dhoni is the man and that is coming from someone who loathed him a few years ago for playing this middle of the road innings where he would hit 27 of 23 with a final ball six to make it less crap.

If Chennai must get the pitchforks out, the fielding and the Jadeja innings along with Fizz should be the scapegoats.

idk what people want from Dhoni at this stage when he’s been doing stick cricket **** this season at times

the real culprit is the Lord, his overs completely shifted the momentum of the match
