Perhaps this should be in the debate thread but as the question is lodged here, I'll give my reasoning. Before I vote for this round , can someone explain me why George Headley would have been better batsman than Mike Hussey, Pujara , Jimmy Adams and Trott all of whom averaged near 60 when they had 2000 runs ? Why his case is more compelling?
I am curious ( Not trolling) .
Without FC record, I won't vote for Pollock (which I would do anyway) but I think Headley achieved enough in his 20+ year career, in which he totally carried his team's batting without any precedence or repentance since; to be voted in. Top 15 or not is definitely up for debate though....Absent any FC record, it's very difficult to vote for Headley or G Pollock.

L&L, possible to add one more column here with the 2022 rank?About 30 votes indicates a far greater interest in the Batsmen Poll than there was for the bowlers.
A fairly predictable result:
57 - Richards; 51 - S.Smith; 37 - Gavaskar; 21 - Hammond; 6 - Sutcliffe; 5 - Headley, Kallis; 1 - Ponting, Williamson.
Richards is down 2 spots on the 2022 survey while Smith is up 2 spots and Gavaskar retains 9th place.
Voting is now open for positions 10-12 with a coveted Top Ten spot up for grabs.

Is 100 fc games, including his tests, at 70 not enough of a fc record for Headley?Absent any FC record, it's very difficult to vote for Headley or G Pollock.
