Athar just said Shoriful was rested because of the number of matches he's played in all formats. We've had 3 T20s, 3 ODIs and a test. Surely the big teams don't rest bowlers after that sort of workload?

He also said Hasan was selected because they thought he was suited to flat decks. He's done ok to be fair.

He then went on to enthuse about our bench getting "stronger and stronger". Yeah, let's work on assembling a proven test class attack in our actual playing XI first. It's not "bench strength" if they're all as good as each other and none of them are good enough.

I think Shoriful could have rested in t20 series/odis at the start and then for the Zimbabwe series if they are so concerned. It looks like we are one pacer short here.

Don't think I've ever seen anyone react more dramatically to pain than Litton Das. Every time he feels something, he reacts like he's just been wronged in a Desi soap opera.

They must have seriously misread the pitch going in with two quicks.
