Which Indian cricketer is likely to win a WTC Final?

Right, so India have reached 2 WTC Finals and lost both. They are one of the favourites to make it to 3rd Finals in the 3rd edition of WTC too.

Question is whether there is anyone in this team who is likely to put his hands up and win India a WTC Final this time around?

Kohli, Ashwin and Jadeja are the three Indians who are rated among the best cricketers of this generation. Can anyone of them win and seal their legacy as true ATG? Or they will remain as nation greats but nothing more than that?

Can a Bumrah or Rohit or Pant do it?

lets be honest Ashwin isnt going to get an atg status if he wins the final for India since this will be counted in neutral avg and not away avg
Ashwin need to first get selected to win the final. Can the ATG even get selected in a WTC Final?

WTC means nothing for anyone's legacy. It's a dumb micky mouse gimmick. The final is played after 2 years when everyone has had different opposition and nothing is standardised, the teams making the final has already been influenced by over rate penalties and no matter who plays or finished on top they play it at Lord's for some bull**** reason.

Winning the World Cup last year would have meant something though

What a stupid thread. As if any one player would make a difference except for as normal Test the player of the match

When people in future will look at this Indian test team since 2016 till now, this point will be a chink in the armour for their players as they have failed in both the WTC Finals.

At least an Indian-born player already has a WTC Champions' medal. Ajaz Patel will have one despite not playing in the final as anyone from the winning squad who played a WTC test during the 2-year time frame receives one.

1 out of 2 finals has been at Lords.

Ideally the top qualifier should host it imo.
2 weeks before the final qualifier 2 plays qualifier 3 in the top qualifier's country.
The winner plays qualifier 1 in the final. If it is a draw, qualifier 2 goes through to the final.
