Is Ravindra Jadeja an ATG test bowler?

Wow, this is a new excuse to not rate him. Waqar, Walsh, Pollock, Warne, Davidson etc. should all not be ATGs by that measure.
Benaud was only good for some of Davo's peak and he was ploughing a pretty lone furrow when Benaud was off so don't think he belongs there.

Yeah but you also find i t hard to understand cricket, esp. Indian cricket.

He is very much part of that group.
What's your common denominator basis for calling a spinner an ATG?

Mine is maintaining worldclass standards comparable to pacers across most conditions globally, which Murali, Warne and O Reilly accomplished, along with rep.

Whatever it takes!!!
Why the **** should spinners maintain same numbers as pacers? Classic case of someone who has no idea of cricket who just watches out of bias and hatred.

That's my criteria.

That's why I am asking what is your minimum standards to qualify as an ATG spinner?

Its sad that a game that is played purely for enjoyment is being broken down by spreadksheet criteria and biased hatred. I simply rate spinners who are the best of their times and are consistent match winners as ATG. Its really not that difficult to understand if you actually have played or watched cricket.

Guys - we had a thread about this, more people here than not believe Ashwin is an ATG bowler which is bloody obvious given the 500 wickets sub 24. That view is even more widespread in the mainstream cricket media and amongst peers, Some people disagree. End of story.
