Zero ATG spinners outside of those two tbh. There have been zero ATG spinners since Murali/Warne.

Benaud was only good for some of Davo's peak and he was ploughing a pretty lone furrow when Benaud was off so don't think he belongs there.Wow, this is a new excuse to not rate him. Waqar, Walsh, Pollock, Warne, Davidson etc. should all not be ATGs by that measure.
I think this deserves its own thread.Ashwin is ATG.
Exactly. They are the bar. There have been zero ATG spinners since Murali/Warne.
Warne is a bar. I agree.Exactly. They are the bar.
You really believe Ashwin belongs with those guys? I find it hard that anyone cant see the daylight between them and the rest of the spinners.ATG spinners - Murali > Warne > Bill O Reilly > Ashwin
Yeah but you also find i t hard to understand cricket, esp. Indian cricket. You really believe Ashwin belongs with those guys? I find it hard that anyone cant see the daylight between them and the rest of the spinners.
What's your common denominator basis for calling a spinner an ATG?Yeah but you also find i t hard to understand cricket, esp. Indian cricket.
He is very much part of that group.
That's my criteria. Why the **** should spinners maintain same numbers as pacers? Classic case of someone who has no idea of cricket who just watches out of bias and hatred.
Being an ATG spinnerThat's my criteria.
That's why I am asking what is your minimum standards to qualify as an ATG spinner?
So basically you have no criteria, just arbitrary selection. Got it.Being an ATG spinner
Is Lyon an ATG?Its sad that a game that is played purely for enjoyment is being broken down by spreadksheet criteria and biased hatred. I simply rate spinners who are the best of their times and are consistent match winners as ATG. Its really not that difficult to understand if you actually have played or watched cricket.
Well that’s just nuts…I think he's just short of being one, and not due to his home/away splits only. I think that bowling in tandem with Ashwin made his job significantly easier at times, and kept his home average very low for that reason.
