I'm sorry but this is terrible captaincy by Asalanka , it's not Pathirana's day so why are you persisting with him constantly? You are just destroying the young man's confidence, take him out the firing line

Great game , if this is a sign of the things to come it's gonna be a cracker !
Jaker Ali never heard of him before but what a brilliant hitter 👏

Hes been around the domestic circuit but always overlooked. Then one of top domestic level coaches Salahuddin demanded his inclusion in a presser and him making runs in the bpl brought everyones attention. Now hes here.

Thanks for this. I didn't know much about him. I don't watch BPL at all.

Anyway I missed the last 3 overs which sucks, but it looks like it was a good contest with Pathirana canceling out the Fizz's performance and Jaker actually resembling a good T20I batter, somewhat unusually, in a Bangladesh jersey. The dew was a huge factor I think.

We can afford to look beyond fizz now. We did not have any option other than fizz earlier but now plenty of guys waiting in the line.

We are in dire need of a finisher in t20s along with Mahmudullah. Jaker Ali seems to suit the position best at 6. Then Saifuddin at 7/8 would be ideal.

I've been a Saiduddin fanboi since the start. He'd be such a huge help. Genuine batman imo

Liton is a big worry these days. What the hell was Liton doing trying to drag a ball that is so far outside off towards leg side? If he got out trying to cut then it'd have been understandable. He got few runs in bpl but the standard of opposition was not good except maybe one match.

Shanto is not in the runs. He's generally a good puller but was late on pathirana. It shows hes not in the right zone with his batting.

Can't expect much from Soumya because he's extremely hot or cold.

They need to fire and can't always rely on middle/late order for the damage.
