*Official* Australia tour of New Zealand Feb-Mar 2024

King Kane

International Regular
Southee has been the weak link in our bowling line up today, no wickets and hasn't looked very threatening at all while conceding some easy runs.

No chance of him being dropped when he is our captain though.

This definitely isn't greens best test knock, the 80 odd vs SL on that raging turner and the 80 odd he made vs Pakistan in the 3rd test of the series we won over there both come to mind straight away

Well at least that was a good bowling change from Southee, taking himself off for O'Rourke to get the wicket of Starc.

Game looks different when Henry or O'Rourke bowl.

Kuggs down on pace and now off. Ravindra might end up doing a lot of bowling if that's an injury.

That 80 vs SL was really underrated and he definitely batted better there from a technical POV but he's shown a ton of fight to survive out here

International Captain
Kuggs rhythm must be inconsistent af. Earlier today there would be 10kph differences between balls.

Though tbf, and I don't like admitting it, kuggs looks a test bowler at times and more threatening than the captain.
Low bar tbh.
This should have been Southee's dream conditions. The ball has done plenty all day and he's still looked the least likely to take a wicket.

It's been a pretty good knock from Green but it hasn't been all that convincing, a few plays and misses along with a few edges but he has hung in there.

I have a deep and unabiding hatred for the one day leg side wide rule, but at the same time I think they're not called enough in tests.
You don't need to tell me though frankly the last few years have made me realise the head high wide is as much of a joke in Tests as anything else. An entire Test match had its result changed because umpires don't enforce the rules
