We'd had about three knock-ons in the 5 minutes or so before Scotland's first try. Shame, because we were playing well until then and Scotland had barely threatened. But you can't keep making basic errors against a side who are basically better than you, and Scotland will probably run away with it now. These England players really are ****. No fan of Borthwick but not sure what an international coach can do with players who repeatedly pass the ball at head height to a teammate 5 feet away.
I'd say England can't tackle this guy but they've employed an interesting tactic of not even attempting to get within ten metres of him today.McVan de McMerwe scores another against England
Agree, dangerous play is dangerous play. If he'd knocked Chessum out, would it still not have been punished?Genge doing something daft; what are the odds?
Way too much reffing of the outcome in union; even if he took out his teammate the intent was there. No attempt to bind at all.
AFAIK, the only play in rugby where you endanger a member of your own team that can be penalised is not bringing down a lifted lineout jumper safely, otherwise, play on to knock socks off your own team.Agree, dangerous play is dangerous play.
