Honestly, that squad is pathetic. If I were a Jamaican youngster I would move. These selectors continuously pick 30 plus mediocrities.

It’s unfortunate. Let’s see how the go…TT won the Super50 with older players.

Anyways, I noticed Akshaya Persaud in both Guyana and CCC squads. I think he’s gonna be playing for Guyana

Update to squads,

In the Guyana Harpy Eagles team, Neil Cadogan will replace Nial Smith. Richie Looknauth will replace Akshaya Persaud who will be playing for the CCC.

In the CCC team, Shamarh Brooks joins their squad.

Our team on their way to defend their title. I think we have one of the youngest and least experienced in this year's competition,

"In the absence of several seasoned campaigners, the Ramnaresh Sarwan-led Selection Panel has picked five uncapped players.

In-form batsman Raymond Perez, leg-spinner Steven Sankar and all-rounder Ronaldo Alimohamed were initially named in the squad, while fast bowling all-rounder Neiland Cadogan and off-spinner Richie Looknauth were later drafted in to replace fast bowler Nial Smith and batsman Akshaya Persaud.

Smith picked up an injury during encampment, while Persaud was transferred to the Combined Campuses and Colleges.

While Perez, Sankar and Cadogan are yet to debut for Guyana at the senior level, Looknauth and Alimohamed have already played List A cricket for the country."

No place for Akshaya Persaud in this CCC team for R1,

2. Shatrughan Rambaran
3. Jonathan Carter (c)
4. Shamarh Brooks
5. Demario Richards

8. Sion Hackett
9. Sadique Henry
10. Jediah Blades
11. Daniel Evelyn
12. Zishan Motara

Guaranteed last place finish I expect from them.
