Haha is it even a secret now? From 5-21 years old it was a disaster if it rained; past that it was a disaster if it didn't. Purely a way to guarantee hanging out with your mates every week, cricket a necessary evil as part of that deal

Maybe that's why Smith and Williamson are so good. They're the only ones who actually want to play cricket.

And still haven’t won a title since the first season in 2005/06. Quite an impressive record of failure.

I think today is proof the gods are against them though, they were well on top when it started raining.
