Controversial take - Seddon Park is the best all-round, all formats ground in the country
Hagley and the Basin imo, though I've heard grim things about the dunnies.

I wish NPDC just ate the road outside Pukekura to make the ground bigger. Cricket + festival of lights through summer and The Bowl on the other side of the park for concerts would make it the best cricket ground in the world.

Pakistan have put the brakes on this innings since Mitchell got out.

Now Chapman gone trying to clear the fence, we need some Santner magic.

Hagley and Basin both not as enjoyable for T20. Not that I particularly rate that, but you can play all formats very well here. And it's easier to get to, park at etc than those two

**** me Abbas's slower ball is literally 30-35 kmh slower than his stock ball. I've never seen anything like it.

Yep so that's part of it...but I'm talking location, ease of access, spectator experience, ground size, atmosphere, suitability to all formats, the works
yeah and it's right at the threshold where it's small enough to fill up easily but still big enough to feel like stadium

Almost too slow a variation. Reminds me of when Brett Lee would drop to like 110ks. Wasn't as effective as if he did a more subtle slower ball.

Have had many good times at Seddon but have always felt the boundaries are a bit small for it to be a really good overall cricket ground.

TBF I'm not watching, rather just going on your comments, but I think it was something that was more common in the past than it is now.

Dunedin was a great ground to watch cricket at. Mind you that was before they did modifications to it.

Good comeback, this. Want to see this side tested against a high-ish total. 200 should be a testing but not impossible chase here.
