It is probably not the first time that CWers have been mocked on air by cricket commentators and certainly won't be the last
I dropped a crowd catch a few years back and got a few words "that's not how you do it young man". I heavily underestimated how hard it would be to see the ball once it came out of the lights in to the less well lit crowd! I suppose being **** at cricket is less bad than being **** at eating ice cream though, which is generally considered a more universal skill

To be fair I maintain my technique was sound. Hot Wellington day, ain't no time to muck around and get ice cream all over the hands. Smash the flakes, then smash the ice cream.

Unsurprising that Sumo would overstate the level of aggression when he thinks a chip towards the outfield is going 30 rows back.

McMillan no doubt would've said the flake was going straight up.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Wait they're actually playing on Eden Park, not the outer oval? Comms seem surprised that Auckland Aces batsman Mark Chapman would tell his Auckland Aces team mates how the pitch behaved from the game vs Pakistan 8-)

The more I see of Chu the more I like and think he should jump a few spots in the keeper ranks. Can find the gaps really well.

Good forbid santner gets injured before the T20I world cup but IMO Delport would be a good clutch replacement player for such an occurrence

Why, in an arena desperately short of bats, does every young promising batter from NZ get played as a bowling all-rounder? If McKenzie's bowling is this good, I can only imagine how good his batting (from #8) is.

I don't know much about McKenzie but he could make the side on bowling alone. Keen to see how he bats

As I type he gets his third. What a dayboo
