State Vice-Captain
Down to his dads FC career. Was at Boland when Tom was born and Northants for Sam and Ben.

Not sure on the hate for Sam. He's nowhere near as bad as his brother for starters.
Hate, is way too strong a word. Just don't rate the guys bowling at all. He is England's equivalent of Irfan Pathan. Looked to have some promise when young but it stalled drastically and he's continued to get selected on the basis of all round potential when realistically he is not international class in either discipline. Although I am not actually a Surrey fan, I do get to go the Oval a fair bit over time, due to working not a world a way from there. I've watched his development a fair bit or otherwise. In his latter teens, I thought he might be good fast-medium bowler with a whippish in ducker to the right-hander, but sadly this is far from the case and he's ended up being a rather penny plain bowler who is just about north of medium.

Are they going to bring that combination down here? Surely they can't? It's just comically brittle especially with Bumrah who is a #10 at best batting at sixth drop.
Australia is actually the one place where the five bowler thing can (and has) worked. But it worked because pitches were flat so the extra bowler becomes an asset and not dead weight.

Plus we picked both Ashwin and Jadeja (and Sundar) which has never happened anywhere else. Obviously if they turn up with Siraj at 9, we'll get multiple 36/9s.

Whatever it takes!!!
AS a rule, I find it more of an issue when batsmen get out when set than when they get out as they are starting their innings, esp. in such tracks. It sucks but Jaiswal will learn, and a batsman feathering a nick to the keeper happens too when its their second ball. I am not too fussed with the Rahul shot even, upper cut is a decent scoring option on such tracks. I am pissed at how Gill threw it away and how silly Jadeja's compulsive playing at short balls is, defensively. Poor Virat deserves so much more runs than what he has scored in this series so far. :(

i know that rabada bowled junk out here but that really overshadowed how awful ngidi was too he suuuuuuucked
Was his first tour of Australia can happen to anyone, he gets way too much flak in my opinion..I mean he has 54 test wickets @ 22.62 ,genuine wicket taker

Kohli was dropped countless times in the first test , he's actually lucky to have his average for the series
