Sajid 7Why does crapinfo have Burger down as an allrounder with a first class average of 11?
Stubbs was in the original squad, Hamza is an injury replacement. Picking Hamza above him would have send the wrong message.Would have much preferred Zubayr Hamza instead of Stubbs for 3 reasons:
1.He's a Cape Town lad, grew up playing at Newlands so knows the conditions well.
2.He's in great form his last 5 scores are 110 not out vs West Indies A , 98 vs Dolphins, 101 and 31 not out vs KZN Inland, 20 vs India A
3.He is in the squad to the tour of NZ, surely you would want to give the lad some experience at home before he plays Tests again.
Wouldn't be the first time someone jumped the queue in test cricket..I mean Klaasen was supposed to be the keeper Conrad was gonna back then he goes back to Kyle Verrynne , others like Linde , Pieter Malan didnt do a whole lot wrong and got dropped ..Stubbs was in the original squad, Hamza is an injury replacement. Picking Hamza above him would have send the wrong message.
I understand that Prasidh is young and could well improve (or he might, you know, not) but is this seriously what the backup Indian bowling is like right now?Would’ve just played Ashwin over Prasidh/Mukesh. He bowled well enough last game.
nah Jadeja is not a mere bowlerI don't really know how many more tests we need to lose with a stubborn insistence on playing 5 bowlers and completely ****ing the batting depth.
Picking Mukesh and prasidh both is a recipe for disaster.
Hey, they won an overseas series with Shardul and Natarajan spearheading. Granted, what's-his-name who was the third bowler might be an improvement over either of Mukesh and Prasidh.I understand that Prasidh is young and could well improve (or he might, you know, not) but is this seriously what the backup Indian bowling is like right now?
Saini is even worse lolHey, they won an overseas series with Shardul and Natarajan spearheading. Granted, what's-his-name who was the third bowler might be an improvement over either of Mukesh and Prasidh.
I said this in the last game but I would honestly take Natarajan and Saini over Prasidh based on what I've seen of them. Yes, I know Prasidh has done well elsewhere but in the brief time I've seen him he's looked absolutely garbage.Hey, they won an overseas series with Shardul and Natarajan spearheading. How does that hack fraud keep getting jobs? It's like once you're in the coaching establishment you will always find work despite lack of demonstrated results.Honestly the most concerning thing I've heard regarding Indian fast bowling stocks is the revelation during the women's ODI last night that Troy Cooley is in charge of managing fast bowling development. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
Krishna turns 28 in six weeks, he's not really that young.I understand that Prasidh is young and could well improve (or he might, you know, not) but is this seriously what the backup Indian bowling is like right now?
