Totally, Allen had a couple of great seasons at domestic level and he's struggling internationally. While there might be an aspect of his game not translating or he can't take the next step up, throwing in a 21yo who's had one good knock would be total madness.

Allen played a good knock when we beat the Aussies in the T20 World Cup last year but I haven't seen him do much since then at international level.

I'm not sure if Tim Robinson is the answer but it wouldn't hurt to try someone else at the top of the order before next year's T20 World Cup.

Seifert is batting well here at least and we still have Conway to come back in as an opener.

Seifert scoring runs here but don't think he's actually middled anything yet. His setup looks horrible tbh, the big slow high back lift followed by a quick tap looks unnatural and it feels like the timing can easily go wrong. Looks a bit better against the spinner though, bit more conventional.

I'm enjoying cricinfo's descriptions of Seifert's boundaries - "muscles", "shoveled", "butchers", "agricultural swipe", "massive mow", "hammers".

Very much describes how I see his batting, a lot of big heaves and not a lot of subtlety.

Very simple way to fix this fielding issue. You drop a catch you forfeit your match fee and that would fix the issue immediately.

Nothing glaring. Just being too dominant in his commentary at expense of partner (who is ex international). And being too forthright in opinions which he doesn't have the gravitas/experience to pull off. E.g describing Afif as misjudged a catch he is diving full length to that he gets on half volley.

Just after ge had described a cut as a clip. Which I can let pass and expect to improve over time. But after doing that you can't get all "misjudged catch" on us, we won't believe you.
