Watching Meredith bowl always makes me annoyed he's never developed the control for FC cricket - though I doubt Tassie conditions (which favour trundlers) are best for him. He's probably the quickest bowler in the country when fit, but at 27 and not having played this Shield season I think it's too late for him to develop into a test bowler.

Nah that sixers strikers game earlier in the season was peak. Both teams trying there absolute hardest to lose the game and dragging it to the last ball. You could write a feature length novel on the tomfoolery in the matt short-craig overton partnership, or Darcy shorts master-class alone.
