Scotty was also listing the highest individual T20 scores earlier and said one of them was Dylan Cleaver, which probably isn't quite right.

That one is an easy mistake to make, tbf.

Gibson's an interesting one: bowling all-rounder who's not a great bowler but a gun T20 bat. Been treated poorly by Otago I think (but opening with him is a gun call). The Hayden Kerr of Dunedin.

Well, it was a great 6-ball innings (three times beat on the outside edge, including by consecutive googlies; three weak hits down the ground). Thankfully he hasn't been contracted, or

But seriously, he gives hope to all of us who lack talent. Fortunate to be left-handed.

Field back from injury.

D Bracewell playing as a specialist T20 bat (@Prince EWS).

Ben-Smith-no-the-other-one is coach. It mightn't be long before we see Ben Smith coaching Ben Smith.
Ben F Smith the Worcestershire/ex HPCC player is an out and out champion. He'll coach CD to a win over the ND Springfield Nuclear Powerplant All-Stars

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
6 vs 3 current/former black caps (although it should be 5 vs 3 ideally)

Edit: 6 vs 4 because I forgot about Cleaver. Although in terms of international caps it's 773 vs 146 (including Pringles Dutch caps)

I see Joey Field is back playing for CD. I thought he looked a good prospect before his injury. Tall, uncomplicated action and got good bounce bowling hard into the deck. Going on this game, he still looks to be lacking a bit of the spark he had two seasons ago. And hair. He has definitely lost a bit of hair.

Geez a very understrength CD batting lineup facing an utterly indomitable NZ A bowling attack isn't exactly helped by CD's trying to get run out every other ball.

100 off 50 balls, that ain't bad from Robinson! Not too familiar with him, he's not hugely hyped up, is he?
Watched a replay of the innings. He seems particularly strong hitting in the V and through the off-side but also pulled out some good pull shots when they tried to bounce him. I'm not sure many other guys on the domestic circuit could have played an innings like that. Will see how he goes against potentially stronger attacks.

Foxcroft erred in only having Muller bowl 3 overs as he was the only one who didn't get smashed.

Rutherford critical of Otago and their inability to hold on to players. I think they have a pretty good batting line up now, but losing Rae and Smith has left their pace attack a bit underwhelming. They did well at the under 19 tournament so must be doing some things right.
