From this quick look at O'Rourke I don't think he's quite there yet, either in terms of pace or accuracy. Obviously worth an extended run at some point, but in the near term I'd probably be more keen to give Matt Fisher a crack.
Fair I think, though O'Rourke should still benefit from this involvement in the side and a handful of international matches. To my eye his bowling action still needs a little refinement, there's a few too many movements going in different directions. But if he can tidy that up and add a little pace at the same time, he could be very good imo.

You know whose action doesn't need work, and offers runs as well? Nathan Smith.

Yeah it's interesting they haven't gone to him - he's the standout young bowler of the last few seasons (except when injured). O'Rourke has the height advantage. Smith's other problem is that he wants the new ball. Hope he isn't someone selectors just ignore though.

Hope he takes five as well.

He actually has a surprisingly good bowling average and economy for a Bangladeshi seamer but I think that's probably just because they only bowl him when conditions aren't awful for him. Taskin has to get belted at the death on home slow turners.

Whatever it takes!!!
You guys were in BD and now they are here? I was thinking this was still happening in BD and the thread title seems to indicate that too.

Who knows why Soumya came back into the team? He had no performance anywhere. Its just because he’s haturasingha’s fav player since 10 years with zero performance. Absolutely ridiculous.
Soumya being in the side is basically satire at this stage.

I think they thought he did well there last time, or was it the time before, and were willing to forget every other failure he's ever had, which happens to be nearly every other time he's ever played. Plus Hathurasinghe.
🤪 HAHAHAHA
