I really wanna hate Santner, but darn that hairline of his is so solid, as a 38 year old losing his hair I can't help but raise my glass to him.

so if he touched the ball with his glove after playing it was it not "handled ball" ??!? been a few decades since but Gooch was out handled ball when he played the ball, it was going to hit his stumps (bounced down or something and was heading in the direction of the stumps) and he swatted it, as I recall, with the back of his glove

1st Test 1993 vs AUS, 133, but as per this wasn't credited to the bowler so much like Suarez diving across and denying a striker a goal in the World Cup the man should have got credit (goal) and taken his side through was cheated out of it (not sure if the ball would have hit Gooch's stumps but he was worried enough to instinctively swat it away

There’s no handled ball anymore, it all just falls under the obstructing the field dismissal umbrella.

In case you've been living under a rock, 'handled the ball' hasn't exist as a standalone dismissal for several years. It's all under 'obstructing the field' now.

Vettori's hair is going pretty well too, must be a left arm spinner thing.
