Not sure that would be my criteria to choose the captain by. Give it to the number 11 on that basis. But goiing back to Livingstone his captaincy did not exactly impress the Lancashire faithful over a summer when there were all kind of dressing room rumours. Handling of the bowlers was erratic at best.

King never looked like he wanted to rotate the strike, boundary or nothing approach.

I was just joking about Livingstone being captain and I think Buttler is still the right guy to be captaining England's white ball teams.

He captained England to a T20 World Cup win just last year so he has some runs on the board.

He could do with some runs off the bat though.
