Pickford is such garbage. Everton finally get the ball back after a period without possession, he scoops it up and hurriedly just thumps it down field. Possession immediately lost.

Everton on the whole are horrible though tbf. This is the first time I've watched them since they played Arsenal and they haven't improved at all.

The "we're just lacking that little bit of quality" (i.e. we're terrible) cliché was basically invented for teams like this. Whenever they get into a promising attacking position you just know they're going to bungle it.

Edit: definitely true that neither team has covered themselves in glory though.

Pretty sure Man Utd are top of the recent form table, which is pretty impressive as the performances have been ****ing garbage.

I think it’s how he’s told to play though. When he plays for England his footwork is really good and he makes good decisions.

Yeah maybe tbf. There were a few occasions today where he tried to play a cute pass and just sent the ball out of play too though. I just really do not rate him at all.

What a great weekend. My lot up to 12th which is nosebleed territory, though bound to lose at Exeter tomorrow night.

Spurs being Spursy and Everton being Everton. 😂

Tierney's just a decent LB right? I don't remember anyone thinking he was anything more, except maybe some Arsenal fans when he played slightly better than usual for six weeks in his first season.

Think he may of been our player of the year in his first season and remained mostly free of injury other than the first 6 weeks or so. Was talk of him becoming captain. He lost his place to zinchenko mainly because he then could never stay fit.
I think Scotland also changed their formation to allow him to play as Robertson was no 1 lb.

Think Celtic did well getting such a good fee for a player like him with his injury record. He is good but not great.
The fact Celtic signed him to a 6 year contract and he's a boyhood fan would have helped them massively as they held all the cards.

It also wasn't too long after van Dijk's move to Liverpool which would also have helped.

Is it really being Spursy when they’ve no fit centre back left and having to play two full backs in the centre? I always thought Spursyness was supposedly conspiring to lose when all the indications were in their favour. Or has that now changed to being just when they lose full stop.
