***Official***THE FINAL- India vs Australia - November 19th - Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad (D/N)

International Coach
Use of commentators in this WC has been abysmal.

Ian Smith's a good guy and all but no way he should be calling the end of Maxwell's innings when he committed those crimes.
He was a fighter pilot though

Good to see famed test batsmen SKY ready to come in to stink up the joint again

Sky, Rahul and jadeja can all catch up. Last thing you want is another innings like South Africa had few nights ago

If the tail wasn't this long, these guys would try to score more quickly. This is where #8 who can bat is invaluable

Miller and Klaasen really targted Zampa though, they didn't just let the bowlers bowl and the captain do whatever he liked.

In general the approach is fine but letting Head race through an over for 2 is dialing it too far back imo
I think this is the problem with this batting line-up though. You can't go hard through the middle overs.

They're relying upon their ability to go hard in the last 10. KL has been superb at the death tbf, so more important that he stays there than Kohli even.

Think they're aiming for 300 and hoping their bowling does the rest, but feel that's a little conservative against an Australian line-up that will just go hard.

Our top order has a near identical structure

If they will go hard, they will lose wickets too

klassen got out the wrong time and Indias run rate isn’t nearly as bad as South Africa’s were. They still need to hang in there a bit then launch. Otherwise they might not have much left to launch at the end. If South Africa’s middle order played more responsible and got 20-30 runs more that semi could of been a big difference
