Babar's going to win the toss and bowl first.
Yeah I get that. there was some still some careless dismissals though. We're just trying to chase it as quickly as possible, wickets don't matter.
... When the toss is televised they should zoom in full frame to Babar's face when Buttler wins the toss and says 'Yeah,we'll have a bat'... lol
Oh no Pakistani fans will be sad if Pakistan loses. How dare theyThat's New Zealand into the Semis
We will beat Pakistan and send the guys on PakPassion forum crying
And South Africa will beat Afghanistan
Madushanka has been one of the best bowlers of the tournament, not much else to write home about for Sri Lanka though.Well, that all but assures another semifinal (sigh of relief). Great effort from the bowlers to restrict SL to 171 on this ground. Guess we'll take the usual Pakistan defeats if they keep missing out on NRR!
Sad end for Madhushanka though, one of the less celebrated stars of the tournament.
You have 40% chance . It is not slim .Job done. Stoked with at least a ticket to the show, even if our odds of getting past India are very slim.
Definitely the most nervous about our bowling stocks, unless Trent does his thing again and gets up front wickets.
Have you got your accommodation and flights booked for Ahmedabad yet? That was a great day to be a part of. Never would of dreamt I'd ever be trembling with excitement at booking a flight to Mumbai.
If we played India 10 times, I don't think we'd win 4 of them at present. So I don't think 40% is an accurate numberYou have 40% chance . It is not slim .
Fine 50%thenIf we played India 10 times, I don't think we'd win 4 of them at present. So I don't think 40% is an accurate number
Haha nah but weather the Blackcap's win or not I'm kind of thinking of going regardless.Have you got your accommodation and flights booked for Ahmedabad yet?
Wow you somehow managed to be a prophet of doom and misery even when predicting that your team would win against the odds.Black Caps to play spoil sports by beating India, sending 1 billion people into an existential wasteland of pain & despair, manifesting itself in physical and demonstrative expressions of anger. The tournament will be robbed of the India vs Australia blockbuster that all and sundry are craving. In the final, one side will melt down spectacularly batting first or chasing, bringing up a rare ‘Threepeat’, while we are treated to absolute scenes of jubilation from the other side with rivers of champagne and ‘winners are grinners’ celebrations running amok, overlaid with acidicly bitter and sarcastic commentary towards the beaten outfit by the likes of Gavaskar and Manjrekar.
