ODI World Cup 2023 Fantasy Draft

Krypto

U19 Vice-Captain
Very interesting development with England making it very difficult to qualify for Knockouts , if they don't this also has a knock on affect to this draft .

Weeman27Bob taking a narrow lead however has a English Captain and Vice Captain . This opens the door. Second halve of this tournament going to be interesting . Relatively pleased to still be in the hunt , should not really be a contender as some main players not playing for the most part however somehow keeping pace .

shami's put me back on top
He really is a brilliant bowler. In the games I've seen of him recently, his seam position has just been beautiful to watch and he's consistent with it. He's also quite accurate with his line and length, gets movement off the pitch, and bowls at 140 clicks. He's a special bowler even in a strong team.

Anil has shot up to rank 4 on the back of good performances from the Pakistan players yesterday. Shri remains at the top with a decent lead.

The table is still quite close though and with a lot of matches still to be played, we can await more interesting turns.

aslanka has got me 177 points. hope he scores another 23 runs in the WC

farooqi has got me 187 points. hope he gets one more wicket

if that happens, all my squad players except ashwin would have gotten me 200+ points in the tournament 😍

Latest update. Not many changes on the table. Shri continues to have a stranglehold over the top position with superlative performances from captain Jadeja and Shami. With a huge difference of 600+, Shri looks to be the favorite going into the knock-outs. Positions 2-6 are quite close and that contest for number two could be more interesting.

Been a diasaster after the halfway mark for me , Pandya my Vice Captain ruled out , Henry ruled out , Young permanently on Bench now that Williamson returned , Imam Ul Haq same story with Zaman , Thakur banished to the stands forever with Shami form. England flopped badly and still refused to give Atkinson game time
😅

Shri continues domination at the top. An ATG knock by vice-captain Maxwell propels Ataraxia from the wooden spoon to #9.

On players, De Kock again continues to be the MVP of the world cup so far with 700 points with Ravindra being a close second and has an opportunity today to overtake De Kock. Heartening to see my man Jadeja in that tenth place.

5 batsmen and 5 bowlers in that top ten considering the primary discipline. Only 1 bowler in top 5 though since the world cup has been slightly batsmen-dominated so far.

Just realized. I have put in the above table without adding their motm points. The table might slightly change if I add that. Will add and send again.
