Brilliant catch from Rocchiccioli to dispose of Bird. McKenzie doesn't look too bad. Not all that threatening but not much in the way of trash deliveries. Bowls the googly frequently, might be one to look out for in limited overs stuff, though his action probably isn't very tricky to pick.

Looks like NSW are going to limit their lead as they are wont to do.

There's a bit of Brad Hogg about him

Apparently Hogg has mentored him.

He has a Warnesque, sideways wrist and relatively slow, low arm action. In my observation the wrist spinners who do best in limited overs are the guys who have the upright wrist at delivery and quick whippy, upright actions.

If Bertus had been afforded even half the chances given to renowned silver-spooned non-eventer Baxter Holt, he'd have cemented his place in the NSW top order and have captained the team to back-to-back Sheffield Shields.

The obvious tactic of the tail trying to stick around and Davies hogging the strike and trying to score quickly, isn't happening.

Davies going the Steve Waugh route of "I trust the tail"

(translation: I'll take the not out thanks)
