Post War Test Anonymous Listing Comparison thread

This is just another methodology to determine the top X post-war cricketers, in the following 3 disciplines:

Top Batsmen

Top Bowlers

Top Allrounders

What you, my dear reader, need to do is send me via a PM conversation ordered lists of the Top 35 Batmen, Top 21 Bowlers, and Top 15 All-Rounders. These need to be ordered so I can ultimately compile and assign points based on list rankings.

All-rounders can (but don't need to) overlap with either of the specialist lists.

All players need to have the preponderance of their careers after WWII. So this means Bradman out, Hutton in. Let me know in here if you have questions on any other players' eligibility, but practically speaking those were the 2 that immediately stood out to me.

Bradman's post-war record: 15 tests averaging 106. High bar for excluding a few others.

Feel free to discuss as much or little in this thread as you want, but only the submissions sent to me via PM conversation will count towards the final rankings.

Final note: I'm going on vacation shortly, and will be back by mid next week. So Tuesday, when I get back will be when I look through and compile what should hopefully be a bunch of PMed lists, into the final ranking. So do try and get your lists in by then!

Don't forget Nourse as well.

Keepers?

Captains?

Should slip fielding be considered in ATG teams?
Lol, I'm just sticking with these three categories for now: batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders (concerning batting and bowling disciplines).

We could consider wicket keeping, captaincy, slip and all other manners of fielding in later listing, if there is interest.

Bumping bump.

Thanks so far to those who have submitted. Some interesting results thus far.

Send your list in to me soon, to get your view counted!

The numbers you've picked make this very hard for lazy people.

I've got as far as my top 4 batsmen, and it's starting to feel like a lot of effort.
Yeah I haven’t been bothered yet cos I’m lazy.

Is there like a deadline for this so I can procrastinate until like an hour beforehand?

Probs thanks to posters like you :)
The level of passive aggressiveness is hilarious.

Or possibly because he believe posters like you and Patience and Gut over reveres them.

But to the original question, lots of great batmen pre war that would help make up the list, don't see the point in excluding them
