De Villiers is clearly #1 and you'd have to enter GOAT territory to overtake him but Klaasen might overtake Klusener if he keeps this up for another WC cycle.

Pure brutality Klusener; Klaasens making a good attempt at the title.

For pure technique and skill and the ability to bat at any time of an innings. ABdV.

What does being GOAT have to do with being most brutal hitter?

Brutal hitting is a very small part of ODI batting. By your reasoning Sachin is more of brutal hitter than Kapil Dev.

Or Starc is faster than Tait.

I'll go with Gibbs and AB. Tempted to go with Klaasen but ODIs are just way too batsmen-friendly now. They were closer to tests earlier, now they entering the Hong Kong Super Sixes territory.

Yusuf Pathan also hit some huge sixes and more regularly than Misbah but sadly he couldn't bat at international level.
Batting at 7 is the hardest thing in white ball cricket IMO. Either you are batting early on a bowling friendly track or barely get to bat when the conditions are good. He would've done well if he was persisted with. He has some of the most violent knocks I've seen in cricket.

Most recently, he destroyed Mohammed Amir and some others who are still actively playing in league cricket/international cricket.
