That was really poor from Sri Lankan middle and lower order , I don't know what game Ramiz Raja was watching, but Pakistan did damn good to pull it back after Mendis onslaught.
Yes we would have taken 340 at the start but context matters, it is unacceptable to not get 350+ after that Mendis innings.
61/5 in the last 10 overs after such a platform is a disgrace.
In fact last 20 overs we only scored 115 runs from a position of 229/3. I don't know what the hell DDS and Shanaka were thinking, they just let the Pakistani bowlers who were having an off day at the time completely off the hook.

That's not true.
Samarawickrama's SR was 121.
When Mendis got out , Sadeera was 36 off 32 .
His next 72 runs came off 56 Balls.
He went from 87 to 100 in 8 deliveries.
The guys who were at fault were DDS 24 off 34 and Shanaka 12 off 18. Sadeera was excellent.

That’s what I meant the other batters didn’t do enough their lower order is a weakness. The last 5 overs was just poorly played. The last over was a joke
