I think you are pretty accurate with playing XI. Little bit of dryness in the pitch and that will be the end for thakur's chances. Chennai is traditionally dry surface, and Ashwin's experience at this ground should come handy.

I will be highly surprised, actually shocked if this turns out to be a one sided affair. Two mighty teams clashes - one with home advantage and other just picks up WC win for fun. It should be a real close one.

Definitely it will suit India better if it spins as Aussis have just one front line spinner in the squad, with all due respect to Maxwell. But I wouldn't write of Aussies at any stage.
Don't forget India don't play spin very well either - Rajkot it spun and Maxwell got 4 for and India lost. In Colombo wellage ran through the star studded line up. Couldn't handle Bangladesh's spin attack on a slow turner in Colombo and lost.

Especially when you could move Stoin out of the squad for Tanveer, Green, Lyon, Manenti ... anyone else really. Relying on Zampa for 9 matches and then the finals if we get there means he's the player under the most pressure. Compare his sole presence to India's choice of 4 quality spinners and you can see who's better equipped to win the tournament.
