Molehill
Cricketer Of The Year
Well he wasn't helped by Maxwell, but he should've been stumped first ball anyway.Carey continues to impress

A lad from Yorkshire the Aussies stole.Who is this Inglis?
Taking Rauf to the cleaners
To be fair, Carey didn't get to bat against this rubbish.Ominous signs for Carey surely?
Inglis hasn't done himself any favours in the leadup to this WC. Carey also got a 99 vs SA a few games ago and came good last WC, reckon managment will back him.Ominous signs for Carey surely?
Having said this, I still would go with Inglis over Carey. Green is gonna eat up a few balls before he's set so ideally he bats as high as possible, which is 5 and I think Inglis is a better option at 6 than Carey.Inglis hasn't done himself any favours in the leadup to this WC. Yeah at this point it seems sensible to slot him in at 4. We have enough all-rounders, and if he's going to score at this clip then my main objection to him goes away; we all know he can bat.Hayden put on the spot there being asked how he rates Pakistan, knowing basically his entire income stream is from Indian media. Reckon he’s sweating harder on that answer than he ever did while playing in an actual WC
Gotta say Marnus looks in imperious form here. Can see him not just in the squad but making the XI at this rate
So when Head becomes available, who gets dropped?
this is how it'll go. It'll be like when they returned Warner to the team in the 2013 Ashes and Smith in the 2019 Ashes. It won't be a logic thing, it'll be who has made themselves dropable. If Marsh opening is working, he might just slot in for which ever of the middle order players is not making runs.
Maxwell burned Carey terribly there lol
