Jota got a 2nd yellow didnt he? the 1st yellow was a dive by UdogieThe Jones one was borderline and I ****ing hate VAR showing the ref a still photo of a tackle instead of the full incident. You learn nothing about how dangerous it is from a photo.
Jota was an obvious red though.
not the tech fault’s if the people in charge are incompetentVAR - ruining football since 2018.
Udogie clipped himself while Jota was not in contact with him if you see the slow-mo replays.Nah Jota clipped him.
The on field officials got the Diaz goal wrong.VAR - ruining football since 2018.
Jota made contact with him and that’s what made him clip himself. I think Udogie was the one who accidentally initiated that contact. So Jota was unlucky. But it still always gets given as a foul and a yellow.Udogie clipped himself while Jota was not in contact with him if you see the slow-mo replays.
But Jota was so stupid with his challenge for that second yellow despite knowing he was already in the refs book.
The first one is debatable in isolation but he’d just got away with no booking from a cynical foul minutes earlier. These decisions aren’t taken in isolationBoth of Jota's yellow cards are clear yellows.
In fact his second yellow is probably on the border of a red given how he throws himself into the tackle.
atm its a way to keep the old boys club of refs protected apparentlyWithout VAR the Diaz goal doesn’t stand anyway. A lot if the main issues with VAR appear to be along those lines which does beg the question as to what the point of it is.
Is there anything in British Sport that is not run by old boys.atm its a way to keep the old boys club of refs protected apparently
