Best part of this was the final ball when Reid turned to get back in his crease for some reason. Also for completely the opposite reason there was also the classic Pringle v Reid final over.
What's quite funny is how far down the legside the first ball of the over is, and not called a wide.I'm gonna post it because it's so good and also Chris Pringle owned.
Ha, yes - an absolute classic of the genre. Also for completely the opposite reason there was also the classic Pringle v Reid final over.
And the umpires were Aussies!!??!What's quite funny is how far down the legside the first ball of the over is, and not called a wide.
It was a truly horrible over. I could imagine even a decent #8 hammering it for 15+.Haha yeah, followed up by a juicy full toss outside off somehow edged to the keeper.
Shocked that Steve Randell waited until the game had reached its full maturity. And the umpires were Aussies!!??!
Watched the game live. It was a bit of a cakewalk for Aus after the first 20 when they batted no?96 Aus NZ QF a darkhorse?
That ball by Steve Waugh to The Prince was a bit unplayable. Why is no one posting actual links to the articles?
Where Australia began their domination of the world
A win from out of nowhere in Mohali signalled what an unstoppable one-day force they were going to becomewww.thecricketmonthly.com
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this, brilliantly written. The article convinced me this was a worthy entry. Brought back memories of this game. It was superb. Ambrose and Bishop were breathing fire and had Australia down to 15-4. Bevan played a great come from behind knock. Richardson's heartbreak staying unbeaten at the non-striker's end, Warne's brilliance and McGrath's mean bowling. This had a lot.
I will be shocked if 2003 Pak India isn't there.2019
