Whatever it takes!!!
Young Sachin had a brazenness in his strokeplay that we never saw post 1998 unfortunately.

Thin captaincy changed his batting style for the worse, as a viewer.

Hayden hit a cover drive in the 2007 WC that only bounced twice before it hit the rope. I've not seen a cover drive ever hit as hard.

Yeah it's Andrew Hall and it's a tiny ground, but jesus.

That's a ridiculously good shot - Donald didn't even overpitch, Tendulkar just took it effortlessly on the up. Just so casually dismissive.
As has been said above, there is a huge difference between the younger SRT and the older, post tennis elbow player. It is underestimated how fluid he was in his earlier days compared with his later, more conservative approach to batting.

I remember listening to a Test broadcast and the commentator (Alan McGilvray perhaps) described Colin Cowdrey's cover drive boundary as a 'caress' that made so little sound he could have been using a banana.

I'd never describe them as "sweet" but the first time I saw KP bat, he hit a number of straight and cover drives that sounded like a shotgun going off.

Babar the modern master for me.
