Who do you think were the best opening combination in ODI ?

Sehwag and Sachin really took the game to opposition even Ganguly recognized this when he stepped down from opening to allow Sehwag to bat there.

Sehwag and Sachin was a combination that could be as ideal as it could be for ODIs across all eras.

but if i had to objectively vote for one it would be Ganguly and Tendulkar for reasons beyond numbers which they also have

Went with Sehwag and Sachin.

Ganguly played some really good innings but had issues rotating the strike, affecting Sachin's momentum on many occasions. An example would be the iconic desert storm final in 1998.

I actually don't think Sachin Sehwag had as many great partnerships as Sachin Sourav did.
