Gorry is closer to Toone than Fowler at the throw in and just drifts towards the goal line and ends up being nowhere near either Toone or the ball when it's cut in. I don't know, I guess assigning blame like this is silly anyways

IIRC on the replay Toone is right next to Fowler when the ball is on the byline and has clear view of Toone as she just drifts away into the box despite the cutback being on

I think that's always going to be the case, especially now Europe's big clubs have properly got stuck in to Women's Football. But it surely encourages more Aussie girls to take up the sport.

Obviously though a player of Kerr's talent and given the sorts of goals she's capable of she should be burying it, but it's still not "why we lost" compared to the horrendous defending basically all night.
