Tend to think once a guy says he's going to retire, take the decision away from him. It's like putting in notice on your job, you just phone it in after that.
You don't need to put your notice in to phone it in, trust me.

Marnus has been great around his off stump so far, looks ominous. Aus day by far at the minute - tomorrow should be best day to bat as well.

lol they gotta piss off that ball ring check whenever the bowler asks.balls like 20 overs old and barely been smashed around

Another day where the overs weren’t bowled just goes to show too much of it dictated by unnecessary things like batters getting on their mark, ball ring checks, bowlers chatting about tactics, Physio’s etc If they wanted to ICC could pull their head in and fix it

That’s a pretty handy day for our blokes
From where they were after Moeen and Brooks got going, yeah pull it back big time

Still pretty even contest though. Especially when you add two wickets to the total

Anyone who’s followed this series would know it’s unlikely that Oz will run away with it tomorrow, but you’d certainly rather be in their position than ours tonight.

Labuschagne feels like the key wicket to me now he’s back in form. Suppose you can never write Steve ‘fewer runs in the series than Harry the Hack Brook’ Smith off either.
