PSG are reportedly planning to step up their interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who is being targeted by Bayern Munich.

Kane is out of contract in 2024 and he is unsurprisingly being targeted by several clubs around Europe.

Ahead of this summer, Erik ten Hag reportedly identified him as his main striker target for Man Utd, but they are unwilling to become unbroiled in a transfer saga with their Premier League rivals.
What’s your prediction? Where will he go? I think hes going to stay in spurs

Ipswich sign Hirst from Leicester
Ipswich have completed the permanent signing of striker George Hirst from Leicester for an undisclosed fee.

The deal follows Hirst's loan spell at Portman Road during the second half of last season when he scored seven goals in 23 appearances in all competitions.

The 24-year-old, son of former Sheffield Wednesday striker David Hirst, made two substitute appearances for Leicester after joining from the Owls in July 2019.

He has had previous loan spells at Rotherham, Portsmouth and Blackburn.

Sunderland play Ipswich in the first game of the season

Young signs for Everton on free transfer
Everton have signed Ashley Young on a free transfer after he left Aston Villa.

A deal that I suspect won’t be seen as good news for Everton fans , after their discontent last season

Everton hold talks with Man Utd over Elanga

Everton have held initial talks with Manchester United over the signing of forward Anthony Elanga.

The club tried to sign the player on Deadline Day only for Erik ten Hag to block the move.

All options are on the table but it is thought United’s preference is to do a permanent deal or at least a loan that comes with an obligation.

Everton are looking at a number of options in that position including Arnaud Danjuma, who also nearly joined the club in January, and Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto.

Hartlepool have announced that match programmes will mo longer be available in printed form but can be bought digitally online.

I guess this has appeal to the younger generation but as an old school traditionalist I prefer books, magazines, sports & concert programmes in printed form.

Kids will never know the joy of one day looking under the bed and discovering a long forgotten shoe box of match programmes of games they went to.

I’m the same though when I eventually sorted out my deceased parents house, I donated most of my safc programmes and memorabilia to the Sunderland Fans Museum

Sunderland fans, what did you all think of Diallo? He seemed to be having a successful loan spell there - which is a rare thing since 9/10 of these seem to fail for one reason or another. I got the impression he played centrally based on the highlights, so that's different to what I've seen of his game before. What's he like as a player now?

He played on the right of attack really , cutting inside a lot.

He formed a neat partnership with roberts down that side

in the championship he was subject to a lot of physical stuff which inspired him to produce a bit of brilliance.

he was outstanding at times and looked a class above and it was a shame we lost Stewart as I feel , safc would have been promoted if those two had been in tandem

having said this , it’s a whole different level that Man Utd operate at , so it will be interesting if he stays there how he performs

Dembele swaps Bournemouth for Birmingham
Siriki Dembele has completed a permanent move from Bournemouth to Birmingham City.

Dembele, who joined the Cherries from Peterborough last year, played six times for Bournemouth in the Premier League last term before going to French side Auxerre on loan in January.
