Was the same in Hereford, or so they said.Don’t think so. They say the same about Welshmen with a bow and arrow within the Chester City Walls, because those laws were never repealed. The reality is though other laws made since that make murder illegal supersede them

Cheers fellas.. Felt like one of those things the guides just say to kinda sell the place and the tour etc.It was legal to kill a Scotsman in York if he was carrying a bow and arrow (except on Sundays). Unfortunately, this law was repealed in 2012.
He isn't, that's why he presents some stupid show on some right wing news channel that gets no viewers. How do you blokes in England tolerate this guy lol
Tbh I do think that unless the ball has been collected by the bowler/keeper up to the stumps, you should always run (or go for an additional run) on the last ball of an ODI/T20. There's only a small chance that the fielders mess up a regulation run out and a smaller chance on top that the extra run makes a difference, but there's no downside other than batter's average being affected (i.e no downside to the team)given NZ run the last in like every jamodi.
You'd be surprised how often the keeper would miss the stumps in such a situation. I'd wager that you would make the extra run more than half the time.Tbh I do think that unless the ball has been collected by the bowler/keeper up to the stumps, you should always run (or go for an additional run) on the last ball of an ODI/T20. If only.I heard something interesting when I was visiting York. It is apparently still legal for you guys to kill a Scotsman in that city? Is that true?
Don't forget Roy being LBW for a golden duck and getting away with the out-est umpire's call in the history of fake DRSIf Guptill hadn't wasted our review and then Rosco hadn't been sawn off with a shocker we would've won easily (not to mention Boult standing on the boundary rope, the Guptill-Stokes deflection, and the umpires not knowing the laws). We should've won by 25 runs, but sadly didn't even get to share the trophy.
