Baz will just tell them it feels like they're 2-0 up.
I don’t necessarily Baz tbh (other than those silly declarations).

Their approach of playing aggressively or letting opposition bat first to chase down big totals has worked so far. And I don’t see them changing this in the middle of the series.

Will be interesting how it’s affected after one major series loss at home.

What are the chances Eng can recover from this? Has any team lost first two games and still came back to win the series?
will be tough to win the series. But this ain’t done yet both tests extremely close and England had some dominate positions in both tests. No where near being dominated like other ashes series

In this game they didn't really have a dominant position. They had a promising position at 1/180 or whatever it was but far from dominant. If anything Australia mostly had the dominant positions in this game.

Bro me and probably you and most the people on this forum were thinking England were gonna get like 500 at that stage on a dead flat pitch. They was scoring quick and Lyon was gone. They were in a very good position and had Aus worried. The betting odds had them way ahead that stage. And don’t even tell me you didn’t think England was gonna win with stokes out there with 70 odd to get

England really did lose it because of their not so smart batting. Gonna be interesting to see how they play the short ball tactics next test, I think England did play it better their 2nd innings

Nah I always said that the beauty of putting up 400 was that you can have one **** session and still be well in front. That turns out to be exactly what happened. And I did say that Australia should seriously shorten their lengths after tea on that day, which they did... to a fairly extreme extent. I certainly didn't think it'd work as well as it did.

It's been a strange series in that at 2 nil up the Aussies are obviously in a commamding position.

Yet both tests have been very close and at times on the last day of both tests, it looked like we may win.

It's a shame from a series point of view that it's not 1 each. I hear people saying it's a great series so far.

Not for me it hasn't because the outcome of the series is more or less done after 2 tests.

They've been 2 great test matches but in results terms it's too one sided to be considered a great series.

I just think the last two games at the end stages with Aus needing like 55 off two wickets in hand. And then England needing like 70 with stokes still there and on like 150. If you have to choose which team you want to play from at those stages you’d pick England for sure. I still don’t know how Aus escaped with a win the first test and thought stokes was going to bring it home the 2nd test. Aus is 2-0 up but this series has been very close m. It’s just some individual knocks and tactics that’s made the difference

One captain came in clutch, one captain choked.

That’s Ashes, baby.

England, both because of the kiwi connection and because TH fuming about Bazball is so darn hilarious. Having said that, the English press going into meltdown over the exact same tactics they were toasting 3 weeks ago, along with TH’s self-satisfied “I told you so”ing is a pretty great consolation prize.
Or we could have this totally unsatisfactory situation where BazBall is losing but now I’m stuck supporting Australian cheating and Stokes gets more heroic by the test

Ashes series in England since 2009 have always come down to this - even the seemingly one-sided series always came down to thin margins and little moments where Aus couldn't capitalise on opportunities or successfully hold out at critical moments. That they're doing so this time isn't some minor thing, it's the whole deal.

It also helps that we don't have an inept captain now who freezes under pressure and never adjusts, right @OverratedSanity

Full marks for those who took the trouble to vote Don't Care.

Like going to the ballot box and spoling your paper. 😄
Like I mentioned in a post earlier, I want the series to end in a draw which was not an option there. Hence, voted for the next best option.

It also helps that broad and robinson will be in hospital beds permanently injured crumbling under the workload while Australian bowlers will be putting their legs up after the series since bazball is determined to not bat for more than 50 overs lol
